If you are interested in scheduling a donation drive for your business, neighborhood, service club, youth group, organization, church or university, Goodwill welcomes the opportunity to work with you. The sale of your donations in Goodwill stores provides jobs and job training programs for residents facing disabilities and other employment challenges. Just four bags of donations provides one day of work for a Goodwill employee.

Should we contact Goodwill before we start the clothing drive?

Please contact the Goodwill Marketing Manager at 419-625-4744 ext. 2018 or e-mail jduesenberry@goodwillsandusky.org. Goodwill can support you by providing promotional materials and scheduling pick-up of your donations.

What will you do with our donations?

Gently used donations are sold in our stores. Proceeds from the sales fund our mission to provide jobs and job training for people with disabilities and other employment challenges in Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties.

When is the best time to organize a clothing drive?

Anytime is a good time! You can organize a clothing drive at any time convenient for you or your group.

How do we get the donated items to Goodwill? 

Your group can bring the donated items to the nearest Goodwill Donation Center and Store. If you have a large amount of donations, we can arrange a pick-up. Contact the Goodwill Marketing Coordinator at 419-719-2007 ext. 2036. Please give at least 2 weeks advance notice if you want your items picked up.

Is Goodwill a registered charity, and can we get a tax receipt for donated items? 

Goodwill is a registered not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donations, including monetary donations, are tax-deductible. The store location where you drop off your donations can provide a receipt. If we pick up your donation, the driver will have receipts available.
