A single mom determined to create a better life for herself and her daughter, Leonor worked with our Community Health Worker Courtney to stabilize her situation.
The Community Health Worker program assisted with getting Leonor better established in her home with her daughter, getting her daughter well-checks, and connecting Leonor with resources for furniture and household items.
With Courtney’s support and guidance, as well as her own strength, grit, and determination, Leonor also finished school and proudly graduated as a Nursing Aid.
With her certification secured, she accepted a position at the Veteran’s Home.
